Peoples Bank & Trust and the Buford Business Alliance are sponsoring health screenings by LifeLine Screening on March 14th & April 10th from 9am to 4pm. The screenings will take place at Peoples Bank & Trust located at 1899 Buford Hwy.

Preventative health care screenings are being held at various locations all around Gwinnett County by LifeLine Screening.
At those screenings LifeLine will scan the carotid artery in the neck for plaque build up, which can lead to a stroke.
(75% of all strokes are linked to carotid artery blockage) and the arteries in the legs for Peripheral Arterial Disease,
which is linked to heart disease.
They also offer a third test for Aneurysms in the Aortic vessel in the abdomen.  Life Line Screening will also offer a bone
density screening for women and men to test for risk of Osteoporosis and an irregular heart beat test. This is a preventative program, and with early detection, these problems can be treated.  The results are sent directly to you. These tests are non-invasive and completely painless and take about ten minutes or less each.  The vascular tests are offered for $45 each or at a package price of $119.  The Osteoporosis screening is $35 or for the Complete Wellness Package-all 4 tests-$129.  
Bloodwork will also be available for things like Diabetes.  (that is an add on price of $50 and you have results that day)
Screenings are recommended for ages 40+  and pre-registration is a must.
